Delete your QR/PDF AI Scanner data
What is stored
- On your phone only: your scan History, Saved items, QR codes you created, extracted text and settings. There is no account, and this is never sent to us.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: feature-usage events (such as “a QR code was scanned”) linked to an anonymous app instance ID, kept for 14 months. Events never contain what you scanned or converted.
- Google AdMob: your device’s advertising ID and ad interactions, used by Google to show and measure ads.
Delete it yourself
- Open QR/PDF AI Scanner and go to Settings (bottom bar).
- Tap “Clear history” and confirm. This removes every History item; to remove Saved items, open Saved and swipe each item to delete it.
- Optional: turn off “Save history” so new scans are not stored.
- To erase everything at once, open Android Settings → Apps → QR/PDF AI Scanner → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app.
- Optional: to remove your advertising ID too, open your phone’s Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (the exact path varies by device).
- Your images, PDFs and the text extracted from them are processed on your device and are never uploaded by QR/PDF AI Scanner.
- Analytics data already sent is anonymous and deleted automatically after 14 months. To have it deleted sooner, send a request below.
