QR/PDF AI Scanner (Android package com.qr.barcode.pdf.docs.scanner.genrator)
Effective date: 1 October 2026

This policy explains what information the QR/PDF AI Scanner mobile app (“the app”), its analytics provider and its advertising partner collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is published by MishiStudio17 (“we”, “us”).

1. Summary

2. Information processed on your device

DataHow it is used
Camera imagesUsed live to detect QR codes and barcodes, or captured when you take a photo for text recognition or scan paper pages. Photos you capture are kept in the app’s private storage only until they are processed or you create a PDF.
Images and PDFs you chooseOpened through Android’s photo picker or file picker, and read on your device to detect codes or extract text. The app does not request access to all your photos or files.
Scan results, extracted text and QR codes you createShown to you, and stored in History and Saved on your device so you can find them later. You can turn History off, delete items or clear all history in the app.
SettingsTheme, vibration and sound on scan, auto-copy and history preferences, stored on your device.

Text recognition and barcode scanning use Google ML Kit on your device. ML Kit may send Google limited technical information, such as device model, Android version, app version and performance metrics, to maintain and improve the service. It does not send your images or the recognized text. See ML Kit terms.

When you choose to open a link, share text or a file, add a contact, join a Wi-Fi network or open a location, the app hands it to the app you pick (for example your browser or the Android share sheet). That app’s own privacy policy then applies.

3. Information collected by our advertising partner

To deliver, measure and protect ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) built into the app may automatically collect and process:

DataPurpose
Device identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID or app set IDAdvertising, ad measurement, frequency capping, fraud prevention
IP address and approximate location derived from itAdvertising, fraud prevention, legal compliance
Interactions with ads (e.g. impressions, taps) and app informationAdvertising and analytics of ad performance
Diagnostics (e.g. crash logs and performance data of the ads SDK)Maintaining and improving ad delivery

Google processes this information as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. Data is encrypted in transit.

You can choose to watch an optional rewarded video to hide ads for one hour. It is never required to use any feature.

4. App analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google, to measure how the app is used so we can improve it. It may collect:

DataPurpose
Feature usage events, such as a scan, a PDF or image conversion or a QR code being created, the type of code (e.g. “link” or “Wi-Fi”), coarse counts (e.g. “2–5 pages”), screens viewed and session lengthAnalytics, improving the app
An app instance ID and, where permitted, the Advertising IDAnalytics
Device and app information (model, Android version, language, app version) and approximate location derived from the IP addressAnalytics

Analytics events never include the content of QR codes or barcodes, links, file names, images, PDFs or recognized text. See Firebase privacy information.

Ratings

If you choose to rate the app, the rating flow is provided by Google Play. We only remember on your device that you chose “Rate now” so we don’t ask again; we never see your rating or review content inside the app.

5. Personalized ads and your consent

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or in a US state with applicable privacy laws, the app asks for your choices through Google’s consent tool (User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are shown and before analytics storage is used. You can review or change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices (shown where required). If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalized ads.

On Android you can also reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your device settings (for example Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads; the path varies by device).

6. Children

The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help delete it.

7. Permissions

8. Data retention and deletion

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Most data stays on your device under your control. For other requests, contact us at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Security and international transfers

Data sent by the Google services described above is encrypted in transit (TLS). On-device data is kept in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot read. Google may process data in countries other than yours under its own safeguards.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when the app gains new features. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, mention it in the app’s release notes.
